Map Preference
You are using an Apple MacOS or iOS or iPadOS device. You have several options when following map links within the GPC website. Select one of the following to set your preference.
- Apple tries to open the Apple Maps app.
- Google opens the Google Maps app, if installed; otherwise opens Google Maps in your browser.
- On MacOS, since there is no Google desktop app, the Google option will always open in your browser.
- On MacOS versions prior to 10.9 (Mavericks) you should select Google. The Apple Maps desktop app is not available on these older systems.
